Nitish witnesses presentation of Road Construction department

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today emphasised better coordination between the Road Construction department and Rural Works department to achieve the target of enabling Patna to be reached from far places in maximum five hours.

The CM gave this direction while witnessing the presentation of Road Construction department about its works.

Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav, who is the younger son of RJD president Lalu Prasad, holds the charge of RCD.

After reaching the target of road journey from district headquarters to capital Patna in maximum six hours, the Nitish Kumar government has set the target to reduce the journey time to a maximum five hours now.
 

While witnessing the presentation, the CM held comprehensive discussion on all aspects, a state government statement said. He instructed to make future roadmap more practical.

Kumar stressed that while building bridge, there should be provision of approach and guide bridge.
