National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) today appealed Prime Minister Narendra Modi to immediately accept the recommendations of the Finance Ministry to remove pay anomalies of the central and state government employees so that uncertainty among them could end.
"The Prime Minister should immediately accept the recommendations of the Finance Ministry to remove pay anomalies in the various categories of the employees working in both Centre/State governments services, so that confusion and uncertainty among the employees and pensioners could come to an end", NMC President Subash Shastri told reporters here.
He pointed out that the committee headed by Union Finance Secretary Ashok Lavasa has already submitted its report to Union Finance Minister a month ago. No decision in this regard has been taken so far which has added to the miseries of the salaried class and pensioners also, he added.

He said that recommendations of the 7th pay commission have not benefited the lower class of the employees of the central government.
Pleading for the cause of daily rated workers in various departments of the state government, Shastri reiterated his demand for payment of minimum wages at the rate of Rs 350 per day.
He also appealed for enhancing the medical allowance to Rs 3,000 per month since the cost of medicines has increased beyond limits.
Shastri further demanded an early issuance of notification regarding implementation of the 7th pay commission recommendations, creation of separate wage head for uninterrupted release of monthly wages of daily rated workers of various government departments, release of all pending wages of 61,000 daily wagers, total exemption of DA from Income Tax slab and issuance of regularizations orders of 180 daily rates workers of Rural Development Department.
