The services of Nilgiris Mountain Rail between Mettupalayam and Udhgamandalam for tomorrow were cancelled as restoration works of the track, damaged due to landslide yesterday, are incomplete.
Railway officials said land slide and big a boulder on the track between Aderley and Kallar last evening resulted in nearly 150 passengers stranded in the middle and affecting the services today.
Considering the incomplete restoration works and in ancitipation of further landslide due to rainy condition, the authorities have cancelled the services tomorrow also, they said.
