No arrests have been made in connection with the mysterious death of 27-year-old girl from Mizoram in south Delhi's Munirka area two days ago, police said today.

The case was being investigated and police was questioning her friends to get some leads.

"Police are investigating case and will soon be coming out with some lead. We are also questioning her friends. Police are also awaiting her autopsy report to ascertain the exact cause of her death ," said a senior police official.

Meanwhile, a panel of doctors today carried out a post-mortem examination on the body of Juliet.

Police handed over her body to her parents after post-mortem examination.

On the night of October 16, Juliet was found dead under mysterious circumstances in south Delhi's Munirka area.

The girl was living in with a male partner, identified as one Virender Singh.

Investigators, who have ruled out any racial angle to the case, said the girl had been staying with Singh in one-room rented accommodation for the last couple of months.

Questioning of Singh, a resident of Haldwani in Uttarakhand, and preliminary inquiry has revealed that there was a party at the victim's house last night which was attended by at least five people.

Police said that Singh had found Juliet lying in a pool of blood after the party following which he rushed her to the hospital. The victim had sustained a blunt injury to her head and a stab wound on her abdomen and thigh.

A case of murder has been registered in this connection at Vasant Vihar police station, police said.

Police said that Juliet had come to Delhi around five years back. Singh was preparing for the civil services examination.
