Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Vinod Yadav rejected the bail pleas of Nafees alias Sikander and Monu Gupta who were arrested recently by the CBI for forcing minor girls into prostitution.
"Considering the facts and circumstances of the case in totality, the stage of investigation and the larger public interest, I am not inclined to admit the applicants on bail at this stage," the court said.
The duo are accused of bringing a minor girl from Kolkata to Delhi on the pretext of getting her employed and then subjecting her to wrongful confinement and commercial sexual exploitation.
The minor girl was rescued by the CBI in March from a house in Sakarpur. The probe agency said the girl was being sexually exploited by co-accused Ajay and a woman named Renu, a resident of Chandigarh. Both Ajay and Renu were also arrested by the probe agency.
All the accused persons have been booked under various provisions of the Indian Penal Code and the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act.
During her production before the Child Welfare Committee and in her statement to the magistrate, the girl narrated Nafees' role and said he had forced her to have sexual intercourse with 5-6 people in a day and that she was not allowed to sleep at night.

She added on her refusal to obey their orders, she was beaten up mercilessly by Nafees.
The school records of the girl showed that the rescued girl was merely 15 years old.
While opposing the duo's bail pleas, the CBI said they were part of a large-scale conspiracy of a gang involved in procuring minor girls from the north-eastern states on the pretext of getting then employment in Delhi and then subjecting them to sexual exploitation.
