Describing the action sequences in Ebar Shabor as very ardous but satisfying in the end, actor Saswata Chatterjee says he refused the suggestion of director Arindam Sil to use a body double for the shots.

"A shot demanded jumping from a roof in a north Kolkata house to the next one, then climbing down and running behind the fugitive for a chase sequence and that was okayed in one shot after rehearsals. There was no net as that would be visible before camera," Saswata said about the shot.

Saswata, who played a police investigator in Ebar Shabor, in other words a special branch super-sleuth busting the crime web in the city, said, "At the end of the day when you see the shots you can make out what was real and what was doctored. And here comes the challenge for an actor. The satisfaction counts."

Directoir-senior actor Arindam Sil, making his second directorial debut after Ray-tribute flick Abarto said, "I have seen only Prosenjit and Saswta who can mould themselves for any roles the director wants even at this age. They are an inspiration for everybody."

Chotuskone sensation Payel Sarkar said, "The thriller's gritty look and feel manifest through the characters. I was asked to drive a motor bike, a very mascuiline type. And I enjoyed the shoot. My character is layered in sync with the plot of the film.
