Punjab BJP chief Vijay Sampla today said there will be no change in the number of BJP ministers and in their portfolios in the state Cabinet.

"There will be no change in the BJP quota (number) of ministers in Punjab Cabinet. There is no possibility (of this)," Sampla said when asked of the talks of such probability.

"All these (talks of change) are media's creation. Here in Punjab, neither the BJP minister's will be changed nor will their portfolio be changed. All minister are doing their jobs properly," he told reporters.

When asked if his party would ask for more seats from the Akali Dal in the 2017 Assembly polls, the state BJP chief said he cannot say anything in the regard now.

"It's up to the party high command to take any decision on this," the Hosiyarpur MP and Union minister said.

However, he added his party's aim is to make a hat-trick of victory in Punjab and make the state "Congress-free".

"The SAD-BJP alliance will fight all 117 seats together," he said.

Asked about party MLA Navjot Kaur Sidhu and her differences with the BJP he interrupted quickly, saying, "There is no dissatisfaction in the party, no factionalism.".
