As many as 28 persons
who had recently returned from abroad have tested negative for the coronavirus in Maharashtra's Palghar district, a senior official said on Thursday.
Palghar Collector Kailas Shinde said 16 of these persons were residents of Vasai-Virar area while 12 were from rural parts of the district.
Isolation wards have been set up in different hospitals in the district where upto 300 people can be quarantined, he said.
