Mumbai police have filed a report before a magistrate's court here saying that they did not find any evidence against NCP MLA Laxman Dhobale who is facing a case of rape.
"Yes, we have filed a B-summary report," a police official said.
A 'B-summary' report is filed when police find no evidence in connection with a criminal case they are investigating.

In 2014, police filed a case against Dhobale after a 42-year-old woman accused him of sexually abusing her repeatedly.
The legislator from Solapur, a former state minister, was booked under IPC sections 376 (rape), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 506 (criminal intimidation) by the suburban Borivali police here.
