There is no evidence yet that a German man who today stabbed four people, killing one, had an Islamist motive, a spokesman for Bavaria state's interior ministry said.
"So far we have no evidence for an Islamist motive, but the investigation continues," said spokesman Oliver Platzer, after the prosecution service earlier mentioned an "apparently Islamist motive".
"We have found the man had psychological and drug problems," Platzer told AFP.
