No dengue death has been reported in West Bengal in the last 24 hours even as 237 new cases of the vector-borne disease were registered in the same period, an official said today.

The number of dengue deaths remains at 17 while the number of people affected by the vector-borne disease rose to 3,438 since this January, West Bengal Director of Health Services Biswaranjan Satpathy told PTI.

Most cases reported in the last 24 hours were from Hooghly district's Serampore and North 24-Parganas district, the medical officer said.
