Former India opener and DDCA's working president Chetan Chauhan today said that Feroz Shah Kotla track will be a "good Test match wicket" when the hosts play South Africa in the fourth and final match here.
Chauhan, who is also stadium in charge of Feroz Shah Kotla, had a meeting with chief curator Daljeet Singh where they had a discussion about the way forward.
"It will not be a pacer-friendly green top wicket. During Delhi's Ranji matches, wickets were pacer friendly but here it won't be like that. But I can assure you that we will produce a good Test match wicket," Chauhan told PTI today.

Asked if groundsmen will stop watering the main square in order to make it spin friendly, Chauhan laughed and said:"I won't answer this one."
However the groundsmen under local curator Ankit Datta watered the strip today.
With forecast of foggy weather, a rank turner like Jamtha may not be prepared but it would be a wicket which is likely to offer turn from second day if not first day.
