In an attempt to tighten security in Uttarakhand following the terror attack at a school in Pakistan, Chief Minister Harish Rawat today issued an order that no leave will be granted to police officials of the rank of IGP and above.
The direction has been given by the Chief Minister in an order issued to DGP B S Sidhu, according to an official release.
In the order, Sidhu has been told that there should be no lapses in the security of the state.

Rawat has ordered that police patrolling should be intensified and checking should be carried out in areas near borders of other states, it said.
