Asserting that government would deal firmly with Maoists in Kerala, State Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala today said there was no need for any anxiety in the wake of the attacks on forest offices and a Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet in Palakkad and Waynad districts by suspected ultras.
"The attacks were carried out by people having sympathy for Maoists and their movements were being closely monitored," Chennithala told reporters at Thrissur.
He also said government would take strong action against such activities.
