Maharashtra Government has brought down the number of permissions or approvals required in the hospitality sector to 41 from the earlier 70 and would further slash it to 34 in a month, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said.
One was required to file 70 applications to get these 70 permissions/licences/approvals in the hospitality sector. Now, the number of applications has been reduced to just 12, he said.
The number of permissions/approvals has been brought down to 41 and the Government is now aiming to further slash it to 34 in a month, the Chief Minister said.

Fadnavis earlier chaired a meeting to review rationalisation of permissions and easing of processes in the sector with all departments concerned.
The CM gave direction to officials to make a single master application form to give all these permissions/ approvals.
