No respite for Delhiites from heat

Despite a marginal dip in humidity levels, Delhiites continued to experience hot and sultry weather with mercury registering above normal temperatures.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 38.2 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average for this time, while the minimum settled two notches above the normal at 28 degrees Celsius, a Met Department official said.

Yesterday, the maximum had settled at 38.2 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 27.5 degrees Celsius.

The humidity levels were recorded between 35 and 71 per cent today, which caused discomfort to people in the city.

The MeT department forecase mainly clear sky tomorrow with the maximum and minimum likely to be 39 and 28 degrees Celsius respectively.
