Heat wave conditions continued to affect the normal life in Rajasthan with Sriganganagar recording the maximum temperature of 46.8 degrees Celsius.
Mercury shot up at many places across the state by one to three degree Celsius due to dry weather conditions and north-westerly winds, a MeT official said.
Blistering heat wave gripped the western districts of Jodhpur, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Churu, and Srigangangar as the maximum temperature in the state hovered between 45 and 46.7 degree C.
The state capital also sizzled at 45.4 deg C, which was 1.3 degree C more than yesterday.
The maximum temperature elsewhere remained between 42.8 and 44 degree C including Udaipur and tribal belt of Banswara, Dungargarh and Pratapgarh.
No relief can be expected in next 24 hours in the state due to dry weather and windy conditions, a MeT department forecast said.
