Noting that talks and terror could not go hand-in-hand, BJP president Rajnath Singh today said India should not enter into a dialogue with Pakistan unless the neighbouring country took sincere steps to end terrorist activities originating from its soil.

"As you all know, we had earlier said that terror in Jammu and Kashmir and talks in New York can't go hand in hand. Until and unless Pakistan takes concrete steps to stop terrorism, there should be no dialogue with it, at least at the prime ministerial level," Singh said at a media conference here.

Asked about BJP's policy towards Pakistan, Singh said, "Our policy towards Pakistan is very clear. We want good relations with our neighbour.
