"No. No threat. Because, we have got many friends to support us. This is a good cause and everybody wants to improve the economy of the country and everybody wants stability of the government. I don't think there is threat to the government," Kharge told PTI on the sidelines of a workshop here.

"Government is stable and we will take all the steps which can improve the economy of the country and in the interests of the country, we are taking the steps. Naturally, some may like it and some may not like it. But, we have to do our duty in the interest of the country," the minister said.

Asked when other economic measures like reforms in pension fund are expected to be taken up, he said, "That will come. Because, one by one, we are taking. Let us see how everybody responds and if this goes smoothly, that will also come."

Kharge was speaking on the sidelines of a national workshop here on welfare of building and other construction workers.
