The Congress said today that there was no transparency in the elctoral bonds for political donations and that a lot was needed to be done on the issue.
"There is an element of subterfuge, there is an element of misleading, there is an element of playing to the gallery by making very good and right and correct noises but lacking in substance," Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi said.
"We are waiting for the details. As it stands today, there is no transparency," he told reporters when asked about electoral bonds.

Is there going to be any corrective (measure) because you may be able to legitimately give much more and anonymously give into a fund which will then issue Bonds.
"Now there is no clarity as to whether the identity and the connection will be disclosed -- none at all. And therefore, you may be legitimising anonymous donations through the formal Bond," he said.
