Senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya Thursday slammed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and wondered which ideology the Gandhi scion believed in.
Gandhi on Thursday in a verbal attack on Prime Minister saying that Narendra Modi believed in the same ideology as Nathuram Godse.
"Nobody takes Rahul Gandhi seriously. He should first say what is his ideology and in which ideology he believes in. He should stop lecturing others," Vijayvargiya said.
Addressing thousands of party workers after leading a 'Save the Constitution' march at Kalpetta in Kerala, organised to protest against the citizenship law coinciding with the 72nd death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Congress MP also said Modi was making Indians to prove that they are citizens of the country.
Referring to Mahatma Gandhi's assassin Godse, he said Modi shared the same ideology with him (Godse) and there is need to confront BJP peacefully.
