Noida: 7 robberies in three hours

Police was left in a tizzy after it received complaints regarding seven robberies that took place in a span of three hours in different parts of the city.

At least seven robberies took place last night in the city, Noida police said today.

Delhi resident V Tiwari, a bank employee, was returning home from Sector 50 when he was robbed of Rs 4,000 cash and his mobile phone near Shashi Chowk here.

In another robbery incident, police today returned the purse stolen from a woman near Degree college after thieves seeing the cops threw it and fled.

Police contacted the woman, an IT employee, through the mobile number given in her ID-card and returned the purse.
 

Thieves robbed the purse and mobile phone from one Braham Singh near Sector 54. Four more similar incidents were reported from the city.
