The houses are among the 39 premises that were served show cause notices after a survey by the authority in Sector 14, 30, 39, 48 and 52 areas last month following Supreme Court directives.
The move came after the house owners failed to comply with official orders, they said, adding that four more house owners were also served with similar notices today.
"Show cause notices were given to four house owners and in six cases, committee has initiated lease deed cancellation process as commercial activity was still going on in-spite of repeated notices," an official said.
"At Sector-52 two plots were illegally amalgamated by the allottees and were running guest houses. Show cause notices have been served to these allottees too," he said.
The authority, on re-surveying, had found that while 19 of these house owners had stopped commercial activity, three of them were the premises in which either banks or clinics were running.
No action was initiated against them as the Supreme Court had asked the authority to first float an effective relocation plan to these establishments, the official said.
