NOIDA authority lodges case against Yadav Singh

Close on the heels of CBI registering two cases against the then Chief Engineer NOIDA, Greater NOIDA and Yamuna Expressway, Yadav Singh and his family members, the NOIDA Authority has lodged a case against him.

"The managing director of NOIDA authority, Vipin Gaur last night lodged a case against Yadav Singh at the sector 20 police station under section 409 of the IPC and section 7/13 of the anti-corruption act ", IG law and Order A Satish Ganesh told newspersons here today.

A special investigation cell (SIC) having a gazetted officer and five inspectors has been set up by the DGP, Jagmohan Yadav for carrying out investigations in the case, Ganesh said.
 

DIG Meerut, Ramit Sharma has been asked to supervise the investigation, Ganesh said adding that the case has been lodged against Yadav Singh and others for misusing his office in allotting contracts to those close to him besides for

committing other irregularities.

On the directives of the Allahabad high court, the CBI has started investigations against Yadav Singh for alleged corruption and amassing assets disproportionate to the known sources of income and had yesterday carried out searches at 14 locations including at his residence and offices of Noida.

CBI has also registered case under criminal conspiracy and provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act against Singh, his wife Kusum Lata, daughter Garima Bhushan and son Sunny Yadav besides one more person Rajender Minocha for amassing disproportionate assets.
