Noida CEO approves dismissal of 34 employees

Noida authority CEO Rama Raman today gave approval to the dismissal of 34 employees who were found to have obtained jobs in the authority through unfair means.

These employees are among 38 persons who were given appointment in the authority in 2002 during the BSP tenure.

In an inquiry, it was found that in case of 33 persons, castes mentioned in their certificates were not found in accordance with the state's list of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, officials said.

One person has been approved for dismissal after he was not found to be possessing required educational qualifications.

While two persons from the 38-member batch have already resigned, age-related applications of two other employees is still pending with the authority, they said.
 

Post on which they were appointed included accountant, assistant accountant, assistant project engineer, caretaker, planning assistant, driver, junior assistant, draughtsman, assistant mechanic, horticulture employee, sweeper and security guard.

The authority's proposal in this regard will now be sent to the state government for its approval, after which services of these employees will be terminated.
