Noida City Centre metro station would remained closed from 6 am to 2 pm on Sunday, in view of ongoing civil maintenance work being carried out there.

During this period, train services on Dwarka Sector 21 - Noida City Centre route will be available up to Golf Course Metro Station.

"The DMRC is carrying out repair work in two blocks. In the last traffic block taken last Sunday at this station, the DMRC completed the internal repair work and concreting of the cross girder which needed a week to stabilise," Anuj Dayal, DMRC Executive Director (Corporate Communication), said.

"Subsequently, after this procedure the Metro engineers will do pre-stressing and external strengthening of this girder to ensure further and permanent strength to the work," he added.

"During this period, from 6 am to 2 pm on October 20 (Sunday) the station shall be closed for commuters," Dayal confirmed.

DMRC will however provide free shuttle service between Noida City Centre Metro Station and Golf Course Metro Station during this period. Train services on all other lines will remain unaffected and will run as usual.
