The rally, spearheaded by Noida Extension Flat Owners and Members Association (NEFOMA), began from JLN Stadium Metro Station and ended at NCRPB office.

Over a hundred flat buyers participated in the rally.

After protesting outside the NCRPB office for about two hours, the protesters were allowed inside and held talks with the officials.

NEFOMA also filed an RTI in NCRPB seeking details of the status of the file relating to the Master Plan.

The Association also submitted a memorandum to NCRPB stating the problems faced by over one lakh people, who bought flats in Noida Extension, due to non-implementation of the Master Plan.

The Allahabad High Court has directed to stop development work in Greater Noida till the 2021 Master Plan is approved with all the incorporations suggested by the National Planning Board.

"We appeal to you to take appropriate steps so that the delay in approving the 2021 Master Plan is not extended further by the National Capital Regional Planning Board," NEFOMA said in its memorandum.

If the delay continues then the buyers will lose a huge amount of money which will put them at the stage of becoming insolvents, it said.
