Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphu Rio today said that non-performers in the Naga People's Front-led Democratic Alliance of Nagaland would be removed.

"I will see that we perform. If any person is found not performing then we have to see that he performs or paves the way for others to come in," the chief minister, who was sworn in for a third consecutive term yesterday, told mediapersons here.

On induction of a jumbo DAN-III ministry with 11 cabinet ministers, 21 parliamentary secretaries and four chairmen and advisors with cabinet status, Rio said the selection of ministers and parliamentary secretaries was a 'mixture pack'.

"We have (considered) tribes, districts, non-representatives and youth. Though many speculations were made by the media, we have done the setting of the cabinet after proper consultations. We have a good team," he said.

He said that the development agenda was a priority of the government. "10 years down the line we have been working consistently and our report card has brought us back."

Rio said that the NPF's commitment, policy and vision have been consistent since 1963.

He said that among all priorities the agenda was an honourable and acceptable solution to the Naga political issue.
