West Bengal Finance Minister Amit Mitra today said that the report submitted by Justice Shyamal Sen on illegal money laundering by chit funds case did not indict anybody.
"None has been indicted in the Shyamal Sen Commission report in connection with the illegal money laundering by financial companies", Mitra told reporters within the Assembly premises here.
The commission was formed by the West Bengal government in April 2013 soon after the Saradha scam was unearthed.
The Opposition parties demanded that the report which the panel had submitted to the government should be tabled in the assembly.
