The popular Nooran Sisters and award-winning vocalist Bombay Jayashri will be among the diverse line-up of performers at the fourth edition of the Sacred Pushkar festival.
The festival that promises to combine the city's spiritual ambience with ageless mystique of music, will begin on October 12.
"From the tranquillity of Pushkar to therapeutic sessions by experts through the day and numerous soul stirring performers who've joined to collaborate for this experience, visitors will have the opportunity to step into what's beyond: new sounds, new moves, new sights, new ideas and new tastes," Sanjoy Roy, Managing Director - Teamwork Arts, said.
Organised by Delhi-based performing arts entertainment company Teamwork Arts, the festival will provide an opportunity to appreciate and assimilate Pushkar's diverse religious, architectural, culinary and handicraft heritage including the spectacular ghats, delectable organic food and the vibrant handicrafts created by local artisans.
The Jaipur Ghat of the famous Pushkar lake will witness the morning yoga and meditation sessions, music therapy and sacred music performance by Bindhu Malini and Vedanth, and sarod player Debasmita Bhattacharya.
The three-day festival will also witness a performance by Yulduz Turdiyera, a rising performer in Uzbek classical music.
