The army's Northern Command Chief Lt General D S Hooda today met Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra here and discussed various issues including the prevailing internal security situation in the state.
"Lt Gen Hooda, accompanied by General Officer Commanding of Srinagar-based Chinar Corps Lt Gen S K Dua, met Governor at Raj Bhavan," an official spokesman said.
"The Governor and Lt Gen Hooda discussed various issues relating to the obtaining internal security situation and the need for the security forces exercising restraint in dealing with arising incidents," he said.
