Union Minister Jitendra Singh today said India is not afraid of any threat by Pakistan's nuclear scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan and that "we are prepared to tackle everything".

"We are not afraid of any such threat and we are prepared to tackle everything," Singh told reporters, reacting to Khan's remarks that Pakistan could target New Delhi anytime.

He said that the central government has taken cognisance of the threat made by the Pakistan nuclear scientist.

"Nuclear armed Pakistan has the ability to target Delhi in five minutes," Khan had said while addressing a gathering on the 18th anniversary of Pakistan's first nuclear test.

Replying to a question regarding the return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits, Singh said the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was committed to honourable return and rehabilitation of the community.
