Days after three Punjab Congress MLAs were issued notices for alleged anti-party activities and indiscipline, a member of Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) today described the action as "illegal".
Bhag Singh, former MLA and member of DAC of Punjab headed by Gopal Krishan Chatrath alleged that the show cause notices issued to three Congress MLAs were "illegal since Chatrath had not called a meeting of DAC and neither took the committee members into confidence".
Singh said that show cause notices issued to Jagbir Singh Brar, Satnam Kainth and Karan Kaur, all MLAs had "no legal validity".
