A spokesperson today said it has been found during survey that some industrial plots and sheds were being used for commercial purposes with dhabas, shops, telecommunication towers, etc., set up there.
According to the allotment rules no one can use those places for commercial purpose, the spokesman said.
He further said that under the notices all defaulter allottees have been asked to ensure implementation of the set guidelines and file their replies within 30 days, otherwise their allotment of plots and sheds would be cancelled with immediate effect.
These industrial plots and sheds had been developed by the Punjab Small Industries & Export Corporation limited (PSIEC) to give fillip to industry in the state, he said.
