Notorious gangster arrested by Delhi police from U'khand

An alleged notorious gangster and sharp shooter, carrying a reward of Rs 75,000 on his head, has been arrested by Delhi police.

The accused, identified as Kuldeep Singh alias Faija, was associated with gangster Jitender's gang, popularly known as Gogi gang, police said.

Sleuths from Alipur police station in Delhi arrested Faija from Rishikesh in Uttrakhand yesterday, they said, adding, that he was wanted in five criminal cases out of which his involvement in four cases has been established.

Police are further probing to ascertain his role in the fifth case as well as in other cases, if any.

Cases under charges of murder, arms act, robberies are registered against Faija in several police stations of the city, police said.
 

A reward of Rs 50,000 on Faija was declared by Mahendra Park police station and another Rs 25,000 reward was declared by Alipur police station.

Police said Fajja has done his graduation in B.Sc from Delhi University and got involved in criminal activities while he was pursuing his graduation.

After Faija joined Gogi gang he killed several people, especially rival gang members apart from committing several other crimes, police said.
