The script has been written by 'Zilla Ghaziabad' writer Vinay Sharma, who has been working on the story for sometime now.
"I along with director Ashish R Mohan managed to get a special permission to meet Babloo Srivastava in Delhi Patiala Court two days back and the film is on card," said Vinay.
Ashish also confirmed the movie plans and said, "Yes, I would be making the film based on his life. I think his life makes for a fascinating subject of a film."
Babloo, 50, is reportedly happy with the biopic and has promised to give the makers an insight into his notorious past.
The cast for the film is yet to be finalised.
Babloo, a former aide of Dawood Ibrahim, has been languishing in jail since 1995.
