Now, getting a new electricity connection and other services from BSES is just a phone call away.
BSES Rajdhani Power Limited and BSES Yamuna Power Limted today announced launch of their door-step service (DSS) which would allow a customer to get "status check" and other services on its 24x7 interactive voice response system (IVRS) call centre numbers.
A BSES customer, under the DSS, can apply for new connection, load enhancement or reduction, name change, address correction, category or tariff change without leaving their homes.

Subsequent to a customer's request, a BSES representative would visit their residence at a mutually convenient time and help the customer complete the required commercial formalities (including application form, affidavits, and indemnity bonds etc) and collect the requisite documentation within a stipulated timeline.
After that, interim status or final status of the application could be tracked by punching in the Order no on the IVRS or by speaking to the Customer Service Representative.
