Now, Maha IAS officers can file asset details till April 2015

Maharashtra government has extended the time for IAS officers of state cadre to file details of their assets and liabilities till April next year.

The decision has been taken in compliance with the Central government directive extending the date, from this month-end, to April 30, 2015 for filing the property returns under the Lokpal rules.

A Government Resolution (GR) of December 26 said as per the Central government circular of December 25 extending the date of submission of property details as on August 1,2014, online till April 30, 2015, it has asked IAS officers of state cadre to comply with their decision.
 

The first circular by central government asking for online submission of property details as of August 1,2014 was issued on August 12, 2014. Later on September 8,2014, the time was extended till December 31 this year.

Now, the time has been increased by another four months.
