In an attempt to promote Ravindra Sangeet in Bhojpuri, one Rajendra Shah Raj, having learnt the bard's songs from exponents, has launched an album.
Addressing a press conference here today, Raj said the album "Jagat Beetal Raina Ari" will be released at the International Bhojpuri Mahotsav, to be organized by 'Bhojpuri Vikas Manch' at Michael John Auditorium here tomorrow.
Bangla to Bhojpuri translated version of the Rabindra Sangeet comprised 11 songs including the famous ones like - "Jodi Tor Dak Sune Na Aase Re Tobey ekla cholo re", "Bodo Asha Kore Ase Chi", he said adding that the album will be unveiled by famous Bhojpuri singers Bharat Sharma and female singer Devi.

The objective behind his effort was to provide good melodious songs to the Bhojpuri masses as well as to eliminate the vulgarity tag attached with Bhojpuri film songs, he said.
Raj pointed out Bhojpuri was a rich and vastly spoken language.
