The government schools in Rajasthan will now hold parents-teachers meeting four times in a year, state Education Minister Vasudev Devnani said today.
"Four parents-teachers meeting will be held in a year in the government schools of the state, and one will be for mothers only," the Minister said at a public function here.
He said that the all India ranking of the state in the education sector has improved from 21 to 5 in the last three years and "the situation would further improve in years to come".
"The confidence of people in the government schools got a boost due the various initiatives taken by the Rajasthan government for the education sector. Enrollments in the government schools are increasing and the result is also improving," he said.
