A Japanese company has developed a crafty wallet to keep your spending in check - if you are short on cash, it rolls away when you reach for it.
The "Living Wallet," developed by a Japanese company, syncs with a bookkeeping smartphone app called Zaim.
The product has two modes depending on your cash: Save Mode and Consumption Mode.

When you inevitably catch it and open it, the wallet will start yelling and asking for help.
The wallet can even call or email your mother to discourage you from making an unnecessary purchase.
However, if your bank balance is in the green and you have the extra cash to spend, the wallet will switch to Consumption Mode and encourage spending.
According to the product website, there are no plans to sell the Living Wallet to the public.
