To attract more subscribers towards government pension plans, the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) will observe NPS Service Week from February 1-6.
The pension fund regulatory body will complete two years of its statutory status on February 1, 2016.
"To mark this occasion, PFRDA in collaboration with all its intermediaries in the National Pension System-- central and state governments nodal offices, points of presence, aggregators, central record keeping agency, NPS Trust-- is observing NPS Service Week from February 1-6, 2016", the Finance Ministry said in a statement.

The week-long campaign is being dedicated to service-orientation towards subscribers and aimed at awareness building and improved information dissemination, it said.
During the NPS Service Week, PFRDA will create awareness about the scheme, take efforts to reduce subscribers' grievances, update subscriber details and advise subscribers regarding benefits associated with Permanent Retirement Account (PRAN) among others.
"This exercise is likely to help around 95 lakh subscribers and would be available through more than 2 lakh of points of interface comprising of government offices, banks, non-bank Points of Presence (PoP) and aggregators", it said.
The regulator will also organise the second edition of the Pension Conclave on February 4.
