An Indian national in Dubai has been named as the winner of the 'Safe Driver Award' at the Annual Dubai Airports Staff Safety Day Awards.
Raja Reddy Alluri is working as a tractor driver at the Transguard Group's Airside Services Team at Dubai International Airport for four years.
He has a zero accident rating, and has safely avoided any Airport Driving Permit (ADP) violations in this period.
Alluri has also won a Silver Najm Award from 'Dnata Cargo Management' for his excellent safety record.
"The award is a great personal success for Raja and is also testament to the work of Transguard's IMS team. It comes hard on the heels of our Overall Excellence in Safety: Contractor Award, which we received at the Dubai Airports Health Safety Environment Excellence Awards in March," John Nolan, deputy managing director of the Transguard Group said.
The Transguard Group, an Emirates Group company, was established in 2001 and has full-time staff in excess of 18,000 people currently.
