NRI held for stalking woman at IGI Airport

A 43-year-old NRI has been arrested for allegedly stalking a 35-year-old woman at Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), police said today.

The accused has been identified as Puneet Ahluwalia, a native of Chandigarh. The accused, who is a businessman, currently resides in America.

Police said they received a complaint from the woman at around 5.15 A.M. That a man was stalking her at Terminal 3.

"The accused had come to India one year back and was this morning returning to USA.

"The woman, who was going to Dubai, alleged that the accused stalked her while she was standing in a queue at the ticket counter after having missed her flight," police said.
