NRL records highest-ever profit at Rs 1,222 crore

Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), a subsidiary of Bharat Petroleum based in Assam, has reported its highest-ever net profit of Rs 1,222 crore during 2015-16, registering a growth of 70 per cent over previous year's net profit of Rs 718 crore.

Stating this at the 23rd Annual General Meeting of NRL held here today, NRL Chairman and also Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) Chairman and Managing Director S Varadarajan said, "Continuing the trend of last year's exceptional performance, your company has once again delivered excellent results in 2015-16.
