A NSCN(R) ultra was today arrested by security forces from Khonsa town in troubled Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh.
Based on intelligence inputs about extortion activities carried out by the rebel outfit, security forces carried out an operation at Khonsa and apprehended the ultra, an official communique informed.
A 7.65mm pistol with rounds of ammunitions were seized from him along with some contraband items, the communique added.
