NSE asks brokers to submit net-worth certificate by Nov 30

Leading bourse National Stock Exchange (NSE) today asked brokers to submit net-worth certificate in electronic format for the first half of the current fiscal by November 30.

While giving out procedure for electronic upload of the details, NSE said, "ENIT (Electronic NSE Interface) link for updating the net-worth will be made available from October 26, 2016 onwards".

"...All members are hereby requested to submit half yearly net-worth certificate as on September 30, 2016 on or before November 30, 2016," NSE said in a circular.

In case a member fails to submit the details within the prescribed timeline, the exchange would impose fine and can take further action.
 

A fine of Rs 100 per day would be slapped for submission made during December 1-31, Rs 200 each day from January 1-31, next year and Rs 300 per day from February 1-28 and thereafter the matter would be placed before relevant authority for appropriate actions.
