Press Trust of India New Delhi
The National Stock Exchange has extended till October 31 its deadline for members to submit their annual returns.

The last date for making the filings was to end on September 30.

"All members who have not made submission are requested to ensure that they submit complete documents in the prescribed formats, as applicable, on or before October 31, 2014 in order to avoid any late/non-submission charges," NSE said in a circular today.

For every day of delay, an entity would be liable to pay Rs 100 from November 1 to 30 and the quantum would rise to Rs 200 every day in December.

It would be Rs 300 per day of delay from January 1 to 31, 2015 and thereafter the matter shall be placed before relevant authority for appropriate decision, the circular said.
