NSUI launch signature campaign in Lucknow university

NSUI, the students wing of Congress, today launched a signature campaign in two campuses of Lucknow university demanding the university's budget be made online for better monitoring and holding of students' panchayat.

National delegate of NSUI, Abhinav Tewari said about 450 students of the university took part in the campaign, supporting both demands.

The signature campaign would be held for three days after which students, along with NSUI activists, would hand over a memorandum to the vice chancellor in this connection, he said.

NSUI sources said 13 universities in eight states have successfully implemented the online budget experiment aimed at engaging students directly in issues concerning them.
