NTPC commissions 260 MW Bhadla solar project in Rajasthan

State-run power giant NTPC has commissioned 260 MW Bhadla solar project in Rajasthan.

"Consequent upon testing and commissioning, 260 MW capacity (4x65 MW) of Bhadla Solar PV Project at Bhadla Rajasthan, is declared on commercial operation with effect from 0000 hrs of March 25, 2017," NTPC said in BSE filing.

"With this, the commercial capacity of NTPC and NTPC group has become 40,522 MW and 47,293 MW respectively," it said.

Grant Thornton's Rajarao elected to Board of Regents of ACFE * Grant Thornton's Forensics leader Vidya Rajarao has been elected on the Board of Regents of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) -- an anti-fraud organisation and provider of anti-fraud training, education.
 

Rajarao is the first Indian to be elected to the Board and will have two years to serve on the board.

As a member of Board of Regents, Vidya's responsibilities would include admission of members and establishing the CFE Code of Professional Ethics.

The Board of Regents is elected by the certified members of ACFE. They are responsible for setting membership standards that promote professionalism and ensure the future of the organisation as a whole.
